RulesStone Horse Country Fair
May 2nd, 2020 Held at the Shipshewana Event Center 760 S Van Buren St. Shipshewana, IN 46565 Set up begins at 7 am, show will began promptly at 8 am. Class limit of 3 models per halter class and 2 horses per class in performance. Additional models maybe added for $1.00 fee. Place by the model. Tags all models must have a string tag label with model breed and gender on side one, and model name and shower's initials on side two. All entrants must sign and entry form waiver agreeing to abide by show rules. Please do not ask to talk to the judges and stay back from the show tables while judging is in progress. Judges are happy to answer questions before or after class. All judges decisions are final. Unsportsmanlike behavior will not be tolerated. Anyone causing a disturbance will be asked to leave without a refund. Show management reserved the right to split large classes or combine small classes. PLEASE do not pick or touch other entrants models without permission and please keep track of your models. Show holders can not be held responsible for misplaced models. We will have a pony pound for models left in the show ring beyond their class. All rings run simultaneously with the exception of Fantasy and fun classes. Fantasy will judged by the first judge done with their division, and fun classes will be voted on by all entrants. Each class will be called at once, the the second calling and the class closed will be announced. Please pay attention to the announcer or judge as the show will move along at a steady pace. We will not hold classes for models showing in another division. Do not use footing or bases in halter class. Unless the model needs to stand properly. Reference materials are encourage, preferred one standard page or less. Questions on breed assignments should be asked of the judges before class begins. Performance Guidelines Limit 2 horses per class in performance. Additional models maybe added for $1 fee, placed by the model. We will have a 10 minute set up tome between classes, however if you have a major tack change let the judge know and arrangements for a time extension will be made. If you are using a footing tray, please use the smallest possible, within the NAMHSA limits of 18" by 30". Use documentation where appropriate. OF STONE: Any model produced by The Peter Stone Company that was part of a run of models or more. All DESIGN A HORSE models are to be considered as regular runs. STONES LTD/OOAK: Any model produced by the Peter Stone Company that is a ONE OF A KIND or was part of a limited run of 29 or less. OF OTHER PLASTIC: Any original finish plastic model not produced by The Peter Stone Company. ARTIST RESIN: Any model produced in a limited number in resin and finished by and individual artist. CUSTOM MODEL: And Plastic of mass produced resin that has been altered in any way by an individual other than the manufacturer. FANTASY: Per NAMSHA rules, only winged or horned, equine based fantasy model are eligible for collect- ability/workmanship Nan Cards. All other Fantasy classes are fun classes only. AWARDS: Flat ribbons will be awarded 1st thru 3rd place in classes. All first and second place class winners will receive a NAN card which qualifies that model to show at the NAN. Collectibilty will receive a yellow Nan card for first and second place class winners. Stone Gift Certificates will be awarded for Overall Champion and Reserve Champion in each division. Champion and Reserve are the best two horses in their division. Therefore, the champion shall be chosen from the 1st place models and reserve will be chosen from all remaining 1st and second place models. Questions?
